One of the first applications of our thin-skin microcapsules was increasing the efficacy and reducing skin absorption in DEET-based mosquito repellents. Our encapsulation enables low-concentration formulations that last significantly longer than conventional repellents.
Shown in vitro to reduce transdermal absorption while maintaining repellent effectiveness. Encapsulates are provided as a slurry in an aqueous carrier.
Beyond DEET, we have also developed a 25(b) minimum-risk repellent formulation and an IR3535-based formulation.

Our A+ formula combines aloe and alginate into a visually clear, sprayable solution. Aloe is known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties,1,2 and alginate helps support the skin's natural healing process.3,4 Together, they calm irritated skin on contact.
The formula is shear-thinning, completely transparent and compatible with pump or spray delivery systems. A+ can be used as both a standalone product and a carrier for encapsulated actives.

Oil-in-Water Encapsulate
Encapsulation keeps incompatible UV filters (like avobenzone and OMC) physically separated, reducing degradation and increasing UV absorbance in lab testing. The technology also improves sensory profile and photostability of organic sunscreens.
Our encapsulation can be engineered to release the UV filter on contact with the skin, or to deliver it in a controlled manner over time. Encapsulates are provided as a slurry in an aqueous carrier.
